The U.K. economy is being one of the slowest to recover from the global slump that started in the second semester last year, and as economies recover globally faster than in the British Isles, the pound may decline further versus the euro and the dollar.

The pound had a negative week versus the U.S. dollar as the U.K. posted its worst deficit figures since the measurement start, decreasing attractiveness for the British currency which performed positively in the previous week.

38 securities companies were surveyed by Bloomberg about their vision of the U.S. dollar’s future. After dollar lost more than 11% against euro this year, majority of the strategists are sure that the next year will be marked with the dollar rebounding versus major world currencies.
